OBS StreamChum Plugin

Connect OBS to StreamChum with a plugin that installs in a minute. Pair it once, keep the scenes you already built, then multistream to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick while Live Center runs chat, elements, and the rest of the show.

  • Windows x64 plugin for OBS 30+, sits in the OBS docks panel
  • Outbound tunnel only. OBS never has to listen on 4455
  • One encode, extra RTMP outputs per destination, torn down when you stop
  • Same plugin Scene Builder uses to add sources and switch scenes live
Install

Quit OBS. Drop the plugin in. Pair once.

01

Install into OBS

Windows x64, OBS 30 or newer. Close OBS, unzip the plugin into your OBS plugins folder, then open OBS again. StreamChum shows up as a dock.

02

Pair from the desk

In StreamChum, Settings → Channels → OBS. Claim the short code from the dock. The plugin opens an outbound WebSocket. You never set an obs-websocket password or forward a port.

03

Go live from your collection

Toggle Twitch, YouTube, and Kick as destinations. Start from Live Center or from OBS. The plugin creates extra RTMP outputs that share your encoder, then tears them down when you stop.

Inside OBS

Your scenes stay yours

Dock

A panel next to Scenes and Sources

Pairing status, destinations, and Start Streaming sit in a StreamChum dock. Filters, audio, and your scene collection keep working the way you already set them.

Outputs

Not a restream middleman

Destinations are toggled in StreamChum. Keys stay on the cloud-to-plugin bridge and get written straight into OBS outputs. Nothing to paste into Settings → Stream.

Control

The desk can talk to OBS

Live Center can switch scenes and toggle sources. Scene Builder can add browser sources and fit game to camera through the same plugin.

OBS or Studio

Keep OBS if you want it

OBS

This plugin

You already have a collection, plugins, and a layout that works. Pair StreamChum, keep encoding in OBS, and run chat, Actions, and overlays from the desk.

Studio

A new Windows app

StreamChum Studio is the product go-live app if you want capture, compose, and encode in StreamChum instead of OBS. You do not need both.

Desk

Same Live Center either way

Unified chat, automod, Actions, and Discord do not care which encoder you pick. The plugin is the bridge when the encoder is OBS.

Go live everywhere. Run the desk from one place.

Connect Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, go live from StreamChum Studio, then run the rest of the show from one desk.
