Connect channels
OAuth for Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, plus Discord, Ko-fi, Studio, and the OBS plugin, all under Settings, Channels.
Every platform and device you run lives under Settings, Channels. Connect a stream platform first. Studio, the OBS plugin, Stream Deck, Discord, and Ko-fi sit on the same page.
Twitch, YouTube, Kick
- Open the StreamChum app and go to Settings, Channels.
- Click Connect on Twitch, YouTube, or Kick and finish the platform's OAuth screen.
- Confirm the channel name looks right, then enable it as a go-live destination so Studio (or the OBS plugin) includes it.
- Repeat for the other platforms you stream to. You can run one, two, or all three.
Mod actions in Live Center stay on the platform they came from. A Twitch timeout is a Twitch timeout. Connecting a platform is what makes that action possible.
Other connections
- Studio: sign in from Studio itself. The Channels page shows when the desktop app is paired.
- OBS plugin: download it, install it, then pair from this same page. Compatibility path only.
- Stream Deck: create a scoped token here, then add the StreamChum plugin from the Elgato Marketplace.
- Discord: connect for outbound go-live pings and shout-outs. StreamChum does not read Discord chat.
- Ko-fi: connect so tips and shop events can fire alerts, Actions, and overlays.
If a platform shows an error after a password change or revoked app, use Reconnect. YouTube chat can pause when Google's API quota is exhausted. It retries on its own.
