Getting started

First hour

1. Create an account at signup. Google or Twitch login works, or email. There is an optional newsletter box; you can change that later in Settings, Account.
2. Open the app. The first visit is a three-step setup: connect Twitch, YouTube, and Kick (one is enough), download StreamChum Studio for Windows or Mac (Apple Silicon, macOS 13.3+), then a you-are-ready screen for Live Center, Chat Tools, Elements, Actions, and analytics. You can skip any step and come back later under Settings, Channels.
3. On Windows, run the Studio installer. On Mac, unzip it and drag the app into Applications. Sign in with the same account. If you are still in OBS, the setup also offers the plugin instead.
4. Turn on go-live destinations for each connected platform, then hit Go live in Studio. You get the same checklist and title/category steps as Live Center.
5. Chat also lands in Studio when nothing is selected. Keep Live Center open for timeouts, bans, and viewer briefs while the stream is up.
6. After you go offline, the workspace owner gets an email recap of that stream (who showed up, what caused the peak, platform mix, clip times, Play if you used it) with a link under Streams. Turn it off in Settings, Account.

Studio is the product go-live app. The OBS plugin is a compatibility path if you are still in OBS. You do not need both.
