Actions and Stream Deck

An Action is a short run of steps: send chat, switch an OBS or Studio scene, poke an overlay, wait, start a Twitch raid, repeat. One Action can fire from a chat command, a follow or Ko-fi event, a watched Twitch streamer going live, a Speech keyword from Studio live captions, or a Stream Deck key. You build it once.

1. Open Actions in the app. New action opens ideas grouped into Start here, Studio, and Channel (Stream Deck scene/sound/overlay, raid out, Twitch shoutout, follow, raid thanks with shoutout, speech keyword to overlay or scene, !brb scene, sub, bits, Ko-fi, announcement, slow mode, watched went live, went live, stream ended, set title, set game), plus start from scratch.
2. Enable a chat command or map a platform event if you want it hands-free.
3. For a physical key, install StreamChum for Stream Deck from the Elgato Marketplace.
4. Under Settings, Channels, create a Stream Deck token scoped to list and run Actions. Paste it into the plugin. Revoke it any time.

A Twitch raid step queues the same raid as Live Center. For a !raid channel command, leave the target blank or set it to ${args 1}, and set the trigger permission to moderator so chat cannot send the room. You still have to be live. Stream Deck and Test can still run the Action.

Studio scene steps work best when Studio is paired. You can still type a scene name. Pairing under Settings, Channels lets you pick from the live list. Same idea for OBS if you are on the plugin.
